Vikings Training Camp Updates

Below are some Vikings training camp updates.

In his recent press conference, Dalvin Cook made it clear that he will not be holding out for the season. He repeatedly emphasized that his agent is working toward a new deal with the front office.

Mike Zimmer explained that they’ll look to get the offensive line positions nailed down sooner rather than later. As it stands, Ezra Cleveland is getting second team reps at LG.

The Minnesota Vikings have addressed depth concerns at safety by signing Steven Parker, a 2018 UDFA.

Zimmer was quick to praise several of the second year players, particularly Alexander Hollins and Oli Udoh. He also mentioned other young players, such as Aviante Collins and Holton Hill.

Zimmer indicated that Shamar Stephen’s background has mostly been at nose tackle, so Stephen should be considered the front runner to start at nose. Zimmer’s praise is consistent with what Andre Patterson and Adam Zimmer have said about Stephen.

As things progress, we’ll continue to offer Vikings training camp updates.
